Key Cast



In 2006 Lena Doerrie graduated from the Bayerische Theaterakademie August-Everding in Munich. While still studying acting at the academy she was hired by theatre director Dieter Dorn to be part of the ensemble of the Staatsschauspiel München.

Since then she has been part of many theatre productions, among them Maß für Maß directed by Dieter Dorn, Medeia directed by Tina Lanik and Country Music directed by Alexander Nerlich.

For her achievements as a stage actress, in particular for her portrayal of “Anna” in the production Himmel Sehen directed by Steffi Baier, she was awarded the Förderpreis des Vereins der Freunde des Bayerischen Staatsschauspiels as well as the Förderpreis des Münchner Merkurs in 2006.

The theatre season 2007/2008 marked the end of her regular engagement at the Staatsschauspiel, but she will continue to give guest performances.

Beside her extensive work on the stage, she has also
appeared in TV series and movies, including München VII directed by Franz Xaver Bogner, Der Alte – Reise in den Tod directed by Hartmut Griesmayyr and in the renowned prime time crime series Tatort – Der alte Fritz directed by Tobias Ineichen.

Lena’s feature film credits include Gegen den Strom and Night Rush. Since 2008 she has been a regular cast member in the comedy series Ladykracher opposite Anke Engelke and Charly Hübner.

Her upcoming projects include TV movies Jeder Mensch braucht ein Geheimnis directed by Wolfram Paulus, Amok directed by Christoph Bachmann as well as the feature films Zwei Zimmer, Balkon directed by Enno Reese and Die verlorene Zeit directed by Anna Justice.
