Key Cast



Vanessa began her career in the theatre where she has been nominated several times for prestigious theatre awards. 

Her theatre credits include All My Sons for the Octagon Theatre, directed by David Thacker, Ghosts and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both for the Octagon Theatre and both directed by David Thacker. Vanessa was nominated for an Ian Charleson award for both performances.

In 2010, she played the role of Isabella in Women Beware Women for the Royal National Theatre, directed by Marianne Elliot, for which she received an Ian Charleson award nomination. She also appeared in Ian Brown’s production of As You Like It for the West Yorkshire Playhouse in which she played Rosalind, for which she was once again nominated for an Ian Charleson award. 

In 2011, she appeared in The Acid Test, directed by Simon Godwin, for the Royal Court Theatre in which she played the role of Dana.

Vanessa’s television credits include Great Expectations for BBC, directed by Brian Kirk and The Hour for BBC, directed by Coky Giedroyc.

She appeared in the feature film Love Loss, directed by Guy Daniels.

In 2009, Vanessa won the Biza Rising Star Award.
